It was well worth to rest for a day in Davos while the weather was quite unstable. Today's weather was much better, in fact almost perfect for a ride across alpine passes.
I passed two alpine passes today:
- Fluela pass (2384m). The highest point of my route.
- Ofen Pass (2149m)
The climbs to both passes were followed by long descents. If the descent from Fluela pass felt very cold, the second one brought me to +30C down the valley in Merano.
The last 40km of descent into Merano followed a wonderful cycling path that traversed endless apple orchards.
